Our practice, led by death doula and artist Ezekiel Goodwin, is dedicated to bringing empathy, imagination, and creativity to every end-of-life journey. With a background in community-based services and a deep commitment to advocacy for marginalized communities, we provide accessible, compassionate care that honors the art of storytelling.

Through legacy creation, personalized end-of-life planning, and support for meaningful rituals, we empower clients to craft their final chapter in a way that celebrates their unique life and legacy with joy and dignity.

Flower Arrangements

“It seems to me that one ought to rejoice in the fact of death- ought to decide, indeed, to earn one's death by confronting with passion the conundrum of life.
One is responsible to life: It is the small beacon in that terrifying darkness from which we come and to which we shall return. One must negotiate this passage as nobly as possible, for the sake of those who are coming after us.”
― James Baldwin, The Fire Next Time

Meet Ezekiel

Death Doula, Celebrant

I’m Ezekiel, and I am devoted to providing compassionate care, accessibility, and advocacy for all my clients. I believe that everyone deserves an end-of-life experience that honors their values, culture, and personal vision.

With a background in community-based services, I have dedicated much of my career to working alongside marginalized populations, a commitment I bring into my doula work.

Some of the things that make me smile are art, James Baldwin's work, yoga, and being in community.
